Five days ago I had sexual intercourse with a person who doesn't have any symptoms. I used condom during all the intercourse, but at a time I inserted the tip of my penis inside his anus for 10 to 20 seconds. We were both dry (no pre-cum on me and his anus was dry) so I am nervous if I could get infected. I don't have any symptoms or ever felt sick after it.
Thank you so much for your great work.
A couple of weeks ago I kissed in the mouth a man which I do not know and he could be a sexually promiscuous man, I don`t know his HIV status. I had a wound on my higher lip from 2 days ago, which was already healing and had a crost- dry cover over it ( a dry wound). The wound was small like 5 mm. He did not have any visible blood on his mouth and he was not having any visible wounds. But he could have had scrathes that I did not see.
Is there any possibility that I could get infected in that way by kissing? I am very scared so I am very grateful for your answer.
Thank you very much.

I need to your advise
I have a fever and cracked my lips. I have to eat and use the restaurant's cup. If there is fresh blood on the mouth of the cup, do I risk of hiv. Many thanks
I have a few theoritical questions about HIV blood transmission.
1. You probably know the common practice of high-school blood oaths, where a grop of people cut their palms or their wrist arteries with a razor and then perform contact or handshake with deep wounds. My question is - In this situation will PEP will needed (and testing respectively)
2. A person decides to donate blood and it happens to be in his/hers WINDOW PEROD. Is there a possibility the medical staff not to detect the virus and then to be transmitted to other people?
3. As a final of my inquiery I would like to ask you about the famous myth "synergy filled with hiv blood". For how long it is possible the virus in the blood to survive there.
Thanks in advance fo your help and answers
Thanks in advance for the answers
I have a bit of anxiety and really need to know what my odds are. I have been doing everything in my life to ensure I maintain my status negative so here are the details
I started prep on the 18th of March 2019 and I had sex with someone that was HIV positive undetectable on the 30th of March 2019. I know he is Undetectable because he was kind enough to take the effort in showing me his most recent results that were on 19th Of march 2019 he showed me the medication he takes and he confessed to me that he had been positive for 6 years and that he has mainted a viral load less than 20 copies. I am also on prep and have taken it the same time every day up to this point I even took an extra one after I found all this out. Yesterday. I was the top and sex wasn't out of the Norm and I am certain of his undetectable status and saw the medication that he takes. He even sent me a copy of those results from the lab. What is my level of risk? If someone whom is hiv positive undetectable with a viral load of less than 20 copies, has unprotected anal sex with someone who is HIV negative and has been taking prep for 2 weeks?
Please help me ease my anxiety, I refrained from treating him badly because he is a kind person and plus he looks really healthy! not only did he show me the proof but it is evident from how he looks! I would defiantly consider taking things farther with him but I need the facts and the education of what my risk will be even under these; what I consider, to be optimal circumstances. where he and I have open communication and he is being forthcoming and honest.
Do these factors put me at risk for getting HIV?
I just wanted to thank you guys for the awesome work you guys are doing around the world, helping people such as myself. I had a question. I had a kissing incident with a little biting last year, and I'm sure there was no blood involved. I went to a doctor who didn't advise PEP. The girl that I kissed was having symptoms consistent with ARS. I don't know if she was positive or not but all the sources I have read like avert.org, CDC say that saliva is not implicated in the transmission of HIV. However, I also read that when a person is having ARS during the acute stage, viral load is at it's peak.
1. Does this apply to the viral load in blood or saliva as well?
2. Is saliva infectious when a person is having ARS symptoms or it is never infectious regardless?
Please help me I have been losing some sleep over this incident
hello , i recently when to Barbershop . he did apply some wax to remove unwanted hair on my face. after removing hairs from my face , there was minor bleeding from hair follicle pores.
the barber applied big Ice cube on it to stop inflamation and to prevents reddenning . But what if he used the Ice on the previous client and what if there was blood from previous customer or any kinda infection from previous customer . i am so worried and i have so much anxiety , i can not even focus . i am so stress . Can Hiv survive on Ice cube . They keep Ice in a Ice box .
