gangbang bareback

Question:

i am a gay male in my late 20s and about 4 months ago i had a gangbang party in a hotel room. We fucked each other without condoms and cummed into each other's ass. we then changed partners and did the same throughout the night. After that i had double penetration where both guys came inside me. They then pissed in my hole. I went and get tested at 16 weeks after the episode using 4th generation ALERE determine combo rapid test which came out NEGATIVE. The counselor said it is conclusive. Is this true?

Answer:

Hello and thank you for using the AIDS Vancouver Helpline. We are pleased to assist you.

There are only 4 situations that may affect the window period of your HIV test and they are:

1)Antiviral treatment for Hepatitis C (HCV).

2)Treatment for cancer (chemotherapy)

3)P.E.P. treatment for HIV

4)Other immunodeficiency diseases (diagnosed in early life)

If you DO identify with any of the 4 above-mentioned situations, we may suggest partnering with your healthcare professional to confirm when the results of your HIV test can be considered conclusive.

If you DO NOT identify with any of the 4 above-mentioned situations AND have had no additional exposures, the results of your HIV test can be considered conclusive at 12 weeks (84 days) post-exposure or later.

I trust I have answered your questions. Feel free to contact the AIDS Vancouver Helpline again, or call (604) 253-0566 ext 299 for immediate assistance with general inquiries.
