Had unprotected anal sex with a 'shemale'

Question:

Hi. I am from Pakistan. I do not know where to ask this question. So please try to answer this question if you can.
I had unprotected sex with a 'shemale' (I do not know the proper term). I first had oral sex, then ejaculated in her anus.

She seemed pretty neat, and told me that she never does unprotected sex and was doing with me because I looked neat too. Please help me in this issue, I am really worried.
Thank You

Answer:

Hi there, thanks for contacting us with your questions! We're happy to help!

I understand these situations can be worrying, but hopefully my information will be helpful to you!

Receiving oral sex is considered to be a Negligible Risk for HIV transmission. This means that although in theory it may be possible to acquire HIV this way, there's never been a confirmed case, and it's very unlikely. To explain, saliva doesn't transmit HIV.

Unprotected anal or vaginal sex is considered to be a High Risk activity for HIV transmission. This means that most cases are from activities such as this one. We recommend that people get tested for HIV after a high risk exposure.

In general, however, we recommend that all sexually active individuals get yearly HIV/STI testing to ensure their health is optimal. So if you haven't been tested recently, this would be a great time to do so! HIV tests are conclusive after 12 weeks post exposure, but begin to show very accurate results around 4 weeks onwards. Please partner with your doctor if you have more questions about testing, or visit avert.org.

If you'd like to read more about safe sex and how to best protect yourself against STIs such as HIV, please visit smartsexresource.com. Always remember that using a condom is the best way to protect yourself!

I hope this helped!

Sincerely,

Christina
