Kissing a person with your own cold sore

Question:

I most likely don't
But if I was positive, and I had a cold sore with no visible blood

Note I only fingered someone before who's more than likely negative considering they're a virgin

Could I give HIV to someone by kissing them (not making out) and the cold sore contacted their lips?

2 weeks after they have a 105 fever and I'm scared.

Answer:

Hello,

Kissing, even with a cold sore present, is considered no risk for the transmission of HIV. There has never been a reported case of HIV being transmitted this way. You are more likely to give someone herpes this way, not HIV.
