Risk of infection: fingering vagina, licking and kissing

Question:

Hello, I am concerned because a week ago I fingered my partner's vagina for some minutes. Then she licked my fingers that I used to fingered her and inmediatly after we kissed (french kiss).

I would like to know if I am at risk of getting HIV.

No other sexual activity was performed.

Thanks

Answer:

Hello,

Fingering is considered a negligible risk for the transmission of HIV. This means that although there is potential for the exchange of bodily fluids, there has never been a reported case of HIV being transmitted in this way.

Kissing is considered no risk for the transmission of HIV. This means there has never been a reported case of kissing leading to an HIV infection.

You are not at risk for HIV from either of these activities and you do not require HIV testing.
