Question:

Hi,

I recently met a guy. We mostly did orals (69) and I rubbed my dick over his ass. The tip of my dick may have entered for 2-3 seconds into the guy's anus - no absolute penetration occurred. I might have been pre-cuming. What are the chances of being exposed to HIV? I'm unsure of his status.

Answer:

Hi there,

Thank you for your inquiry. From what we gather from the question, you were asking about the risk of HIV transmission in the event that the tip of your penis entered into your partner's anus (for 2-3 seconds) with no absolute penetration.

From our understanding the tip of your penis had entered your partners anus for a very short period of time.

Although there was supposedly no absolute penetration, the scenario you described is considered High Risk (Evidence of transmission through these activities and is the majority of cases of transmission).

Anal penetration without a condom is considered a High Risk activity, regardless of the amount of time you may have been at risk.

Contact between the head of the penis (with pre-ejaculate present) does satisfy our Transmission Equation. The transmission equation is satisfied because of the presence of bodily fluid, with direct contact to the blood stream through the anus.

Recommendation: Refer to Physician for HIV test.

All the best,
