Sweat in the eye??? Cut finger in the bottom?

Question:

I recently got with an older woman. No sex, just mutual masturbation.
Was a lot of fun...but im worried about 2 things.
Some of her sweat got in my eye.
At one point during our time she fingered my bottom. Just worried if she had cuts fresh/old on her finger and i couldnt see and ive been put at risk?
I test normally once a year but does this mean i should alter my testing time to test sooner???
Thankyou for your time.

Answer:

Hello,

Thank you for using the AIDS Vancouver Helpline as your source for HIV-related information.

You cannot get HIV from sweat, tears, and saliva, as HIV viruses can only be found and survive in specific bodily fluids, such as blood, semen, rectal secretions, pre-ejaculate, and vaginal fluids. Also, HIV is a sexually transmitted virus, which means that it is generally transmitted through unprotected anal or vaginal intercourse or sharing injection needles.

Fingering is considered a negligible risk for HIV transmission - that is, there has never been a confirmed report of HIV virus transmitted this way. While it is not recommended that you have a person with an active fresh wound finger you, the passing of HIV has never been associated with this sexual activity. It is great to hear that you are concerned for your health and getting regular testing done, but I would not recommend additional testing for the situation at hand.

Thank you for your question and please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any further questions or concerns.
