HIV transmission with ARS

Good day. I had an awkward night with a sex worker last September. We had French kiss ( I had a cavity in my teeth and I do not remember whether there was obvious blood or not in her mouth) , rubbing my penis (unprotected) on her vagina without inserting and 3 times protected vaginal sex with her as long as I remember the condoms were intact. Starting point of awful days was at 29 days after exposure by getting a cold-like and maddening anxiety. Day by day, I was finding new symptoms (as I thought). I felt fluctuation pains inside of arm’s muscles. Moreover, I was a little bit feeling cool on my both hand until I wore a jacket which somehow disappeared them from days of 42 to 48. At 42 days after my risky action when I thought I was HIV positive, my 4th Gen HIV Elisa test came out Non-Reactive. I could not believe the test result. I assumed that something goes wrong on my body not to produce enough antibody in order to be diagnosis by test. Further, I went to the same Lab (a private lab in Iran) to retest at 12 weeks mark which again was Non-Reactive through 4th Gen Elisa. After that, I started thinking that definitely the Lab's Technician was not master to conduct the test although he told me he was experienced about 2-3 years in immunology diagnosis departments. I could not help thinking myself until 200 days when I went to another lab to retest because of my killer anxiety regarding unreliability of last couple tests. The new Lab uses ECL method which is fully automated diagnosis screening method. Again came out non-Reactive. I just got calmed down for a while. After one month, again anxieties came into my mind that may be they did something wrong. Of course, most probably my worries are somehow due to obsessions. Now, I would like you to assure me whether my exposure was risky? Was my teeth made French kissing risky action for HIV transmission? Were my ARS related to HIV or not. Thanks a lot

Oral Sex with Canker Sores

Hey,

I recently gave oral sex to a guy that I had just met. I do not know of his HIV status for sure, although he stated that he was negative. He had ejaculated into my mouth and I left the semen in my mouth for around a minute. I later found out that I had a recently formed canker sore on the tip/bottom of my tongue, but I didn't notice any bleeding. Is my risk for HIV infection high enough so I should get tested?

Thanks!

testing after 1 week

hello
recently i have sex with a prostitute, the condom was on the whole time and it did not breake.
after 1 week i got tested with a 4th generation test
what should i expect?

HIV 4th generation ELISA

So a month and a half ago I had sex with a girl a barely know. We had vaginal intercourse and I used a condom all the time. I performed oral sex and she rubbed her genitals with mine (no condom in this case) so after that I got really scared and took a 4th generation ELISA (Ac. Anti VIH1 y 2/ Ag P24) at day 39 (0.18) NO REACTIVE and at day 50 (0.10) NO REACTIVE. So I want to know if theres a risk of contracting HIV through genital rubbing. I know there´s a chance of infection through oral sex but is close to zero, right? And I want to know how reliable are those tests. I want to take another test the 79th day, I know is the 84th day to be conclusive but I´m going to work on the countryside and I really can't take the test after the 79th day. Am really losing my mind over this. Does it chance a lot if the test is taken at 79 day and not at 84? Please, help me. I also read that the CDC says that after 6 weeks is conclusive right? And there´s no need for more testing.

ANXIOUS, SCARED, TIRED. PLEASE HELP, NEED RELIABLE HIV EXPERTISE.

Hi,

Approximately 3 days ago I had sex with a CSW. During this encounter, I performed oral sex on her but for a very short amount of time (kissing, not really licking), and I am not sure if I had any sores in my mouth, but when I took time to notice that evening and the following morning, I didn't see or feel anything unusual. She also performed oral sex on me, but I was wearing a condom and ejaculated in the condom in her mouth. This was the extent of our activity.

Six months prior to this, I had a different encounter with a CSW (also the first time I really thought about the possibility of contracting HIV) where we did oral/protected vaginal sex, and I made sure to get tested regularly afterwards. My last HIV test, taken sometime before the encounter 3 days ago, was negative. During those six months, the thought of having possibly contracted HIV really wore me down mentally, and it is an awful feeling to know I have to go through another six months of hell in order to clear the HIV-possibility for this last encounter.

I just have a few questions that I am hoping can set my mind at ease. 1) What is my risk of having received HIV? 2) Do you recommend that I get tested given my experience? 3) If I were to take a 4th Gen Antibody/Antigen test (available at a clinic nearby) when would I need to get tested to get a conclusive result, or are there any tests that provide conclusive results before the standard six months (all the tests I have taken were 3rd gens)?

Please help. I'm very anxious and worn out from the fear and just can't think that this nightmare has begun again.

Hiv infection by contact with penis and anus in a pool.

Dear doctors and writers,
Last night I had a "stupid night" I am still regretting.
This was the first time I had sex with a man, and I didn't find it enjoyable at all.

I want to a male sauna and had sex with two guys, giving them passive blowjobs and then (with one of them) anal sex with condom, in this case outside of the pool, in a private room.

When we finished having sex (it lasted few minutes) the boy didn't even ejaculated and we went back to the swimming pool.
I have to say that, after the anal sex I saw on the towel a tiny tiny tiny quantity of blood (or maybe was just mucus, light was very low).

Once we were back in the water, we talked for 5 minutes (still under water) and then the second guy invited me to sit on his legs. While I was seated on this laps, his penis was touching my anus a couple of times.

I also suffer of little hemorroids, I have "two little balls" hanging out since probably 10 years but I never cured them since they never game me any problem/hitch/pain.

Can my anus situation improve the chances of getting infected?
Left for granted that I will take the test in the next weeks, how likely is that the second guy's precum could have infected me?
Does precum get diluited in water? The pool also was chlorinated, does it help?

HIV symptoms or anxiety attack?

Hello Doctor!.

My question is as stated above. I am a 23. Currently healthy, living with my partner which has been with me for almost 3 years. I had a crazy night 1 month ago (May 27th) and I did oral sex to another male unprotected but it did not last longer then 1 minute. I also had protected anal sex (me being receptive). In which case I brought the condom, I checked it before opening the package and fully unrolled the condom on his penis. He did not have marks, bruises or sores. Sex did not last more then 5 minutes until he ejaculated inside then condom while inside of me. I proceeded on taking the condom off him, closing it up and throwing it away. After that I washed my hands. I know the condom did not break since I examined it. Even tho I am very paranoid I went to my doctor and explain the situation and told me I am a low risk case. Well, I had a few test done 2 weeks after that encounter. I had a Gonorrhea, Chlamydia and Herpes 1 & 2 test. Well, Gonorrhea Negative, Chlamydia Negative, Herpes 1 <8.0 and Herpes 2 >0.9 Well, he told me I was positive for Herpes 1. Meanwhile, I keep checking myself every day. I had diarrhea the first week after that encounter and always after I start thinking and worrying a lot! I have had no fever, my temperature is always 98.6F or below. No fever, night sweats, no rash, no muscle ache (unless I sleep wrong), no joint pain, did have a sore throat but 2 days after the encounter, no sever headaches (I did get a very soft headache yesterday and today) I do have lymph nodes tho. I did have one in my armpit but it went away in 2 days and also the same for groin. They have not come back in the armpit and groin area. I do have a few on the side of my neck and this has me worried sick! They hurt a little but they are not big, there are very small in size. This is making me go crazy even with suicidal thoughts! I can't have a STD test done at my local clinic because they say I have to wait until August! I don't know what to do! Help please! Thank you.

HIV Test Result

Hi,

I'm a 28 year old Indian male. I had a high risk exposure on 30th April '16. I had anal sex with another guy in which I bottomed. The other person used condom. But I started having several symptoms of HIV on week later.

I got tested twice. First on 28th of May and then on 24th of June.

Both test results were negative.

(1) Latest result: HIV - DUO by CMIA (IV th Generation test) - NON REACTIVE (0.08)
(2) Older result: ANTI HIV I & II (Serum/CMIA) - NON REACTIVE (0.07)

I still seem to have all the symptoms and test results are negative.

Should I get myself tested once at the 3 month mark and then again at 6 month mark ?

Please advice. Waiting anxiously for the reply.

Blood during oral sex

Hi,

A week ago I was performing oral sex to my partner of unknown status and I knicked his penis unwantingly. He started to bleed a lot, I don't know where did I knick him but there was a lot of blood. When he went to clean himself, I went to wash my mouth and noticed that I did get blood on my mouth because my saliva was red.
I'm going to get tested but I wanted to know what kind of risk I was exposed to. Would it be able to get infected by HIV from blood in mouth?

Thank you for your answer,
Joshua
