Hello thanks for this online support, I had a risk I fingered a stripper with an unknown hiv status I had 2 opened friction blisters that I had popped 3 days before the incident can you guys help ?
Today I hooked up with someone in their hotel room. It was all very quick but I asked his HIV status. He told me he was negative and always had safe sex (this is my sexual practice as well). In the heat of the moment, I fingered him before having protected anal sex. When I was cleaning up in the bathroom, I noticed I had a tiny scab on my thumb from a hang nail I had previously pulled. I panicked a bit because it was on the thumb I had fingered this man. I, of course, vigorously scrubbed it with soap and washed my hands like 8 times with hot water. Upon inspection and drying with a towel I think I broke open the scab.
Seeing that I'm almost certain I didn't disrupt the scab when I was fingering him, what is the likelihood of contracting HIV from this encounter.
Thinking it through...
1) He said he was negative. And has since confirmed it in texts.
2) I only temporarily inserted it into his rectum.
3) I didn't encounter any of his blood/semen on my finger.
4) Is a scab sealing off the port of entry?
Basically, I deciding whether to do PEP.
I have some queries, which I hope you will be able to help me with
1- If a person is seroconverting and has lymph nodes, will it come out at all the places or 3-4 lymphnodes in the neck can also be a sign of hiv. If a person is on antibiotic will it subside or lymph nodes due to hiv are subsided by ART
2 - Can the flu like symptoms go in 4 days. What level of fever is there in hiv whether it is above 101 or below 101 degree fahrenheight
3- Rapid point of care ( tridot tests ) test with serum will have how long a window period.
4 - Can the medicines of diabetes and antibiotic for lymph nodes ( augmentin 625 and chymarol forte ) delay the window period
5- If a person has a lymph nodes for more than 10 days & if he is actually having hiv, will it come in the tridot test...... I tested negative.
actually, i am asking these questions due to the following activity which I encountered in Jan & March
Jan - fingering in vagina and there is a possibility that my penis touch vagina of the csw & i masturbated with vaginal fluid in hand
8th March - Kissing deep, nipples massaging the tip of penis( fear of breast milk entering urethra). 10 seconds of insertive felatio.
I will be grateful if you could help me ease my anxiety, point by point.
I tested by oral swab twice once in 2011 and once in 2013 both were negative,i have only received oral sex since 2011, I have tested for sexually transmitted infections (STIs) many times, I tested neg in dec 2013 and I received oral in jan 2014, should I test again
When I was at the dentist today, I was rushed into the room right after another patient because they were running behind on their schedule. The assistant seemed a little new and a little apprehensive. I am not sure if the dental equipment was changed out or sterilized because they were just fixing one thing on my tooth - however it is generally a clean dentist office. While the dentist was working on me, he ask the assistant if something was sterile. She said no and then he continued to work. I wasn't exactly sure what he was referring too.
While he was working, he filled my teeth with an abrasive floss and it cut my gums and I was bleeding. When I left the office I was nervous that the equipment used in my mouth was not sterile and I could have the been exposed to HIV or other diseases. I called the dental office and told them that I was nervous and wanted to know what they were referring to when he said no to something being sterile. I talked to the assistant and she said that he was asking if the piece of floss (abrasive metal) was sterile, she said no because it was from the former patient and she said that she gave him a clean one. I am paranoid that they are not being truthful, that he could have accidentally used the other patients equipment and/or he touched it and it was rubbed against my bleeding gums. I understand that the patient prior to me would have to have HIV, that the same equipment would have had to be used, and that it would have had to go into my bloodstream (i was bleeding) for me to get HIV, however I still feel very nervous about this.
Can you please let me know if this is even possible. If there was HIV+ pathogens/blood on the abrasive floss that cut my gums, would it have died when it was sitting on the counter for 3 min or so?
Thank you for you help.
Recently i engaged in an activity with a girl that i don't really know (at least i know she has been with someone else 3 weeks prior to my encounter with her).
I am really worried over this and seem to be losing a lot of sleep, having a lot of anxiety and stress. I'll list down what transpired during this exposure:-
1) Deep french kissing (im sure my gums we not bleeding, or wounds etc) and im also certain that there was no active bleeding in her mouth. I am thinking i would have definitely been able to taste some blood. Also visually there was no blood in her mouth.
2) I received fellatio (oral sex done on me) but did not notice any visible blood on my penis at the end.
3) i inserted my fingers before the fellatio and after during foreplay (fingering) and my fingernails (which i cut shortly before the encounter- No bleeding or sores on hands or fingers).
Am i at risk from the above 3 acts? I deeply regret what i did and have been driving myself into a deep depression over this.
I do not understand why some websites state that only if there is a "break in the integrity of skin" but no where do they actually properly explain it. From my reading it says if the finger was actively bleeding (exposure 3) then there is a chance.
Please advice. I'm at my wits end here.
I recently got with an older woman. No sex, just mutual masturbation.
Was a lot of fun...but im worried about 2 things.
Some of her sweat got in my eye.
At one point during our time she fingered my bottom. Just worried if she had cuts fresh/old on her finger and i couldnt see and ive been put at risk?
I test normally once a year but does this mean i should alter my testing time to test sooner???
Thankyou for your time.
I was anally fingered. The partner had cuts on finger that I wasnt aware of at the time.
Do i need testing????
Hi, i am a young gay man. I have had some situations recently with guys and want to see if I should get tested based on these experiences.
1) a few months ago I possibly received unprotected anal so I tested 80-82 days afterwards and it was HIV negative (the nurse said that was enough time)
2) I made out with a guy older than me and he touched my penis briefly and I touched his too. I am concerned that he might have had pre cum on is hands as he was producing quite a bit of it and it could have gotten on the tip of my penis and into my urethra?
I wasn't worried about it but I read a few questions on here and it made me worry..
3) As a general rule I do not have anal sex or perform oral sex. All I do is receive oral on occasion and partake in mutual masturbation and outercourse like my situation above. Based on the fact this is all I do, can I still get HIV sexually? Or is a penis going inside a body required?
Thank you in advance, I'm quite worried and I hope you can help make me feel a bit better.
I was fingered by a woman of unknown status.
She used saliva and possibly vaginal fluid.
Do i need to test????
