Hi, I am sorry for asking you guys this stupid question, but I am really worried.
One night I had got deep long french kissing (dunno if one or both of us had there some blood but it is possible) and I also was a bit sick, like having a cold and starting flu.
I know, that there is no risk of getting HIV from kissing because in saliva are some enzymes, but when I was ill, isn't it then possible this way?
Thank you for your answer.
I'm worried about a few sexual encounters I have had over the last year. I was tested for all STDs a year ago including HIV which came back negative. Since then I have seen some sex workers and have had the following performed. Made out with a stripper, oral sex received with condom on twice, 3 hand jobs without condom. Now the biggest worry I have and can't find answers for is that I have a couple gential warts from HPV, that I have had for a few years. These have been there before my HIV test a year ago. Reading online, I have heard its easier to get HIV when you have a penile wart. The only skin to skin contact was through hand jobs in which I noticed no active bleeding from me the receiver or the giver. Am I at risk? I'm re thinking these casual encounters, the worry is not worth the reward.
A prostitute sat on my back without dress, I was wearing full dress (T-shirt, vests and briefs and jeans pant), whether it would transmit aids due to her vaginal fluid in my dress?
I have recently shared a drink with an HIV positive person.
It was very quick and I used a separate straw but it was from her cup.
She is my colleague at work and I always see her use the same cup and she never really washes it.
Would there be more HIV virus in the cup since she never washes it??
Could you please evaluate my risk? Do I need to go for a test?
Thank you very much
Hello, I was in HIV clinic few weeks ago (probably little paranoid visit), and during the visit I have used my cellphone while waiting in waiting room (stupid decision). My hands were also wet because it was raining that day. After I finished my visit I washed my hands twice, but I forgot to sanitize my cell phone and continue to use it regularly. Am I at risk of contracting HIV because I bite my nails and went to pee one hour after? I have touched the doorknob and pen in clinic before using my phone.
I went to an erotic massage parlour last week. I was doing foreplay with her. I was only kissing her neck though. But I found few blisters or acne on her. So, I'm afraid anything would happen.
My question is how will I know if I catch some STI's or STD's or HIV for that matter? It has been 5 days since I went there. Please help. Thank you.
my grandmother is 89 years old and while talking since my mouth was open and i have sore throat her spit directly hit my throat. am i know infected with hiv(aids) or not
I had exposure (mutual masturbation and titsex) with a sex worker two years ago. No oral, vaginal or anal sex took place. Oil was used on my penis and her breasts for lubricating. Half a year later I received a HIV screening (4th gen) along with my physical, which came back non-reactive. Should I retest due to possibility of false negative? I have read that in one case this person seroconvert after 4 years, although with obvious AIDS related symptoms
last day I was at a gym near my area. there were 15 men in the gym at that time. a mosquito bit me there and I tried to drive it away accidentally it was smashed and lot of blood came out from it. I think it was someone else blood in it. Can I get hiv from that. I didnt have any open sores on my skin But what about the hole that mosquito created on my skin while biting me. Can Blood(mosquito previously drawn blood from another man) go in that hole to my blood stream.?pls help
I went to the dentist a little over 2 weeks ago, and I was terrified of it. I went there and the dental assistant told me that the tools are obtained from an autoclave bag. He told me that there was supposed to be some blue indicator, but later when I saw the bag, I did not see the indicator and it was not blue.
I have been suffering for more than 2 weeks because I am afraid of being infected with HIV. The day I went to the dentist, I actually ended up going to the ER twice because I was so anxious and scared and I started to panic.
I did not have any procedure done on an actual day, the dentist just checked for cavities (up to that point I was fine). However, then she used a dental probe (a long metal tool with a hook) to check my gums, and see if they needed cleaning. My gums ended up bleeding, and that's when I panicked. Especially since I had seemed the mirror she was using (the little dental mirror) had a reddish tint, and the dentist cleaned it. I thought maybe it was just fog, but now that I think about it, I think maybe it could have been blood.
I also got an HIV test on the same day, and of course, it was negative, which I knew it would be. I know any infection would show 3-4 weeks later, so I am scared again because today and yesterday I woke up with an itchy throat and itchy nose like allergies.
I have been obsessively checking my lymph nodes and fever, and I am just scared. How likely is for someone to be infected with HIV at the dentist, and when it was just a checkup and not an invasive procedure.
The only thing that caused bleeding was the dental probe tool the dentist used to check my gums and see if I needed a cleaning.
P.S. The doctors at the ER told me that I did not need PEP because I did not have an exposure and that it was highly unlikely for someone to be infected at the dentist, but that's what bothers me, they told me it is highly unlikely. It should be not likely at all. They told me I have anxiety issues, which is true, is not the first time I have been scared. I had a tonsillectomy last year and I was also scared to death. I was not able to relax until I had a test.
