Hello and thank you for contacting the AIDS Vancouver Helpline. I am happy to answer your question.

Here at the Helpline we use the BCCDC standards of 3 months to determine conclusiveness of all HIV tests. This is equivalent to 12 weeks. Since you took your test at 24 weeks, you may consider your results accurate and conclusive, and do not require further testing unless you've had a new exposure to HIV.
