Hi there, thanks for contacting us with your questions. We're happy to help!

I'm happy to let you know that kissing is No Risk for HIV transmission. This is because saliva doesn't transmit HIV, and there's no entry point for the virus to the bloodstream. Additionally, saliva contains an enzyme that breaks viruses down adding to protection.

I'm sorry to hear you're not feeling well! These symptoms are not due to HIV, since you had a no risk exposure. HIV symptoms are vague and mimic viral infections such as the flu, so there are many potential causes for the symptoms you describe. If you continue feeling unwell, partner with a doctor to determine other causes!

For more information on how HIV is transmitted, please visit: http://www.avert.org/hiv-transmission-prevention

I hope this helped!

Sincerely,

Christina
