I had sex with a girl and used a condom, and as far as I know the condom did NOT break. Before I she put the condom on my penis touched the outside of her vagina a few time, but did not go inside her. Very worried about HIV! Had a HIV test 25 days to the possible exposer day, came back negative. When should I get another test?  The stress is making me nuts!

Hello and thank you for choosing the Helpline. Using condoms for is the best way to keep you and your partners safe.
The risk of transmission of HIV from contact of a penis to a vagina does not exist. HIV is transmitted from penetrative unprotected vaginal and anal intercourse. HIV is also passed from injecting with shared needles and can be passed from mother to child.
Your penis must be inside the human body in order to have the HIV virus enter your urethra. It is great that you have had a test done as we recommend HIV testing for all sexually active people, however based on the information you have given, no further testing is needed.
We at the Helpline also recommend that all sexually active people regularly test for all Sexually Transmitted Infections.
Please do not hesitate to contact us at anytime, should you have any other questions or are in need of support.
Yours sincerely,
David
