2 years ago, i had an unprotected vaginal sex with a CSW.
I got tested for HIV 1,2 via Elcia 4th generation at 3 , 6, 9 , 10 and 14 month of post exposure and was found NON-REACTIVE

But my symptoms never stopped.

I got gastritis after 2 weeks of post exposure which will probably remain with me for the rest of my life now.
At 5 month i got oral problems like pharyngitis, which is still with me now.
At 11th month of exposure post, i got unexplained fever which lasted for 22 days had 102 temperature.
AT 12th month i got ear blockage, sinusitis, cheek biting and they are still with me. i hate this cheek biting, its happening every day and it has been 1 year with this cheek biting feeling. its very much irritating and sinusitis also came out positive in CT Scan.

NONE of these are solved.. except i don't get sick now.

Here is a picture of throat.

Hello and thank you for contacting the AIDS Vancouver Helpline.

We wish we could provide you with the answers you are looking for about your symptoms, but, we are trained with general information about HIV/AIDS (not doctors). Based on what we know, the results of your 4th Generation EIA test can be considered reliable and conclusive, with no other exposures. Your negative test results seem to indicate that your symptoms are not related to HIV, and we encourage you to continue partnering with your healthcare professional to find out how else to treat your symptoms.

We know that symptoms can happen for many different reasons, and it may take a lot of time to find out why symptoms are happening. We have included some resources that can help you get connected, and stay connected, to a local healthcare professional in BC. If you live outside of BC, please don't hesitate to call us, or write back, for assistance connecting to a healthcare professional near you. Thank you for contacting the AIDS Vancouver Helpline.
