Hi there and thanks for using the AIDS Vancouver Helpline as a source for HIV/AIDS related information.

First of all, judging by the number of tests and the intervals as to when they were taken, you are conclusively negative.
Secondly, the swollen lymph node has nothing to do with anything HIV related. That being said, swollen lymph nodes may relate to other illnesses or infections and therefore I would strong encourage you to discuss this specific issue with your health care professional.

If you have received conclusive negative results, any further tests, no matter what other symptoms you are experiencing, will not affect the negative results of you HIV testing.

Finally, if any HIV is in your blood, it would have been exposed through testing. I would encourage to you look at another very good website for further information: http://www.catie.ca

I trust I have addressed your concerns however, should further information be required, feel free to contact us again.

In good health,

Jonathan, AIDS Vancouver Helpline Volunteer
