Hi sorry if my english is bad. I'm typng this after a party I had 2 days ago.
So there were a couple guys in the club and 2 of them went with me to the toilet.
1) one guy gave me a blowjob, so he was the one down and i was the giver
2) i kissed with him afterwards, no cuts on lips
3) we both cummed our cocks, mutual masturbation, the other guy sucked cum of my penis after i finished
I am worried there still is some way i got hiv if they were infected. I dont know them personally.
The thing is I was never a giver only a recipient, is there any risk i got hiv?Thank you.

Hello,

Thank you for your inquiry. From what we gather from the question, you were asking about the risk of HIV acquisition from receptive oral sex.
Receiving unprotected oral sex is considered to be a negligible risk (There are no evidence or no documented cases of transmission. However, there is a theoretical possibility).

In both giving and receiving oral sex, saliva may reduce the risk because this body fluid has an enzyme that deactivates the virus. In addition, after being deactivated by your saliva, the virus is then swallowed to your digestive track and killed by the very acidic stomach fluid. HIV fails to go into your bloodstream through giving oral sex (1).

Please refer to a physician for any additional concerns.

Best,
AIDS Vancouver Helpline/Online, Cody
