I believe i have anxiety issues but i want to confirm it with you for final thoughts. Past year i had multiple negative HIV tests in 3 different testing sites.

3 of those were at Clinic for Volunteering Testing at 75 days, 82 days and 138 days.
At private Microbiology lab at 70 days and 203 days
And last one when donated blood at more after 9 months

I had unprotected vaginal sex with a girl of unknown HIV status.

Can i move on being sure i am DEFINETLY out of any danger...

Hello there!

Thank you for using AIDS Vancouver Helpline as your source for HIV/AIDS related information.

Engaging in unprotected vaginal intercourse is a high risk activity for the transmission of HIV. For those individuals with low risk or higher, we do recommend testing for HIV.

Having said that, it is great to hear that you were concerned for your health and got tested, as testing is the only way to know one's status. All HIV tests provided by healthcare specialists are accurate, reliable, safe, and are conclusive at 3 months or 84 days post-exposure. Given you have not engaged in other high risk activities during the interim, your negative test results at 9 months are absolutely conclusive. Additionally, the blood donation clinic would not have accepted your blood if your blood was HIV positive. We are confident that you have not acquired HIV, and no further testing is required. If you continue to experience doubts and anxiety about the results, we recommend talking to a medical professional to see if there is any counselling available to you for some peace of mind.

We also recommend all sexually active individuals to practice safe sex (through condoms and water-based lubricants) and receive testing for all sexually transmitted infections (including but not limited to HIV) whether annually, bi-annually, or every few months depending on your schedule.

I hope this answers your concerns. Please feel free to contact us again if you have further questions.
