Greetings,

This is no risk for HIV transmission. HIV is transmitted via unprotected intercourse or the sharing of used needles. It cannot be transmitted from giving a hand job, or from the semen on the hand, as once the virus is exposed to oxygen, it dies.

HIV requires the airtight environment of intercourse or a needle in order to be transmitted, and can not be transmitted from inanimate objects, like a table, toilet seat, handle, nor can it be transmitted from someone else's skin.

I would not recommend any testing for this scenario. Please let us know if you have any other questions or concerns.

All the best,

Katie
