I had this unprotected sex last June or July 2015, then October I take the test the one they prick the finger to drew blood, they said I had non reactive... Last December I take blood test and I still got negative on the results and this January... I take another test, it was Rapid ICT and it was Negative on HIV, Hepatitis and Syphillis... Question is am I safe right now? I am abstaining the whole time but still this thing lurks into my mind... Thanks

Hello and thanks for reaching out to the AIDS Vancouver Helpline. It sounds like you are concerned about the reliability of your test results after having taken 3 tests and receiving all negative results.

95% of infections are detectable within 4-6 weeks post exposure to HIV.

All tests are considered conclusive at 3 months post exposure. You are well past 3 months. You have taken 3 tests, all nonreactive/negative results.

You can trust the accuracy and validity of these tests. Your results are conclusive.

Thank you for contacting the AIDS Vancouver Helpline.
