Hi there, thanks for contacting the AIDS Vancouver helpline with your HIV related questions and concerns. We're happy to help!

In terms of HIV, tests are considered conclusive at 12 weeks, which is 84 days, so congratulations on your conclusive and negative test results

For other STI's, we recommend that all sexually active individuals get regular HIV/STI testing to maintain their health, so it's always a good idea as things can present with symptoms later on! A test is often the only way to be certain about your status, so it's recommended. This may be something to consult with your health care professional though, as we are only trained comprehensively for HIV, and just have basic knowledge about other STI's and their testing regimens and requirements.

I hope this helped!

Sincerely,

Christina
