Hi I recently met a lady, and we did the following
1. She gave me a handjob
2. I masturbated on her buttocks ( but did not enter her anally)
3. I masturbated between her breasts.
I know one can't get hiv this way, but is there still a possibility and should i get tested? Or am I just being anxious?

Hi there and thanks for reaching out to the AIDS Vancouver Helpline. My name is Colin and I am happy to help you out.

I understand you are feeling anxious about your risk of having acquired HIV during a recent encounter with a lady. Let me give you some information to put your mind at ease.

Right off the bat, I can tell you that these are considered no risk activities. For there to be a successful transmission of HIV there must first be HIV present. Next there must be both an exchange of bodily fluids with direct access to the bloodstream. Additionally once exposed to the air, HIV is immediately rendered non-transmissible meaning it can no longer be passed on from person to person. Because these conditions were not met during the activities you described, they are all considered to be no risk. I'd recommend checking out the [Canadian AIDS Treatment Information Exchange](http://catie.ca/en/basics/hiv-and-aids#how) for more information about how HIV is passed between people. For this encounter, testing is not necessary but here at AIDS Vancouver we recommend that all sexually active people get regularly tested for HIV and other STIs to maintain the best handle on their health and the best peace of mind.

I hope I managed to answer your questions today. Please feel free to contact us again if you'd like any more information of clarification.

All the best,

Colin
