Hello and thank you for your question! We are happy to help.

Window periods for HIV tests are all different, because they look for different things within your body. However, here at AIDS Vancouver, we use 84 days as a standard for determining conclusiveness of tests. 80 is close enough to that 84 mark, so your negative test results can be considered conclusive and very highly accurate.

Congratulations! If you need further assistance accepting your test results, please contact us again and we will do our best to link you to help in your area.

In health,

Caroline
