So I went to school and I touched my

Stuck to it, I touched it and then had a
Scratch in my eye can I get hiv

Hello there, and thank you for using AIDS Vancouver as your primary source of information on HIV/AIDS. You are certainly not at risk of HIV, for the following reasons: HIV dies upon exposure to air (oxygen) and cannot live on surfaces such as chairs. Specific HIV positive fluids (e.g. anal/vaginal fluids, blood, semen) must directly access the bloodstream of an HIV negative person for a risk of transmission to exist. In your experience this did not happen.
