Hi there and thanks for using the AIDS Vancouver Helpline as a source for HIV/AIDS related information.
First of all, a sex worker is not necessarily at a higher risk for HIV than anyone else. Anyone can pass HIV, no matter what age, occupation, gender, ethnicity or sexual orientation. It is the activity (unprotected anal/vaginal intercourse) that poses an HIV risk.
Your HIV test at 88 days is conclusive and you do not have HIV. There is no need for further testing unless there have been recent risky activities.
The cough and cold are experienced by many people this time of year and has nothing to do with HIV.
I trust I have addressed your concerns however, should further information be required, feel free to contact us again.
In Good Health,
Jonathan,
