I got a little tipsy after a few drinks and I needed to go to the restroom badly. So I went, the only female stall available had a little spec of blood on the seat of the toilet.
So I decided to squat on the seat instead but I lost my footing and my vagina actually fell on the spec of blood really hard, it kinda hurts. I started panicking so I quickly did my business, wiped and left. I don't know of the blood was dry or wet cause I didn't really look.
Am I at any risk of HIV? I read online that u can't get HIV from a toilet seat, does it include when your private areas actually touches the blood?

Hi there and thanks for using the AIDS Vancouver Online Helpline as a source for HIV/AIDS related information.
The answer to your question is no, you have not been exposed to HIV.  This is why:
1.  HIV is a very weak virus and dies once it is exposed to air; within 1-2 minutes, and
2.  In order for an HIV risk to exist, specific HIV+ fluids (vaginal/anal fluids, semen, blood) must come into direct contact with the blood stream of an HIV- individual.  In what you describe, this did not happen.
I trust I have addressed your concern however, should further information be required, feel free to contact us again.
