i took an sex massage yesterday, and the lady invite me to have sex with condom on.
But before I enter the vaginal (just rub outside), I am ejaculate. Is that a risk to have HIV transmitted?

After that, I took a shower and found out my foot have a small cut(the cut is 5 hours before), is that a risk
to have HIV transmitted thru water or someone else leave semen or blood on the floor?

Hello and thanks for reaching out to the AIDS Vancouver Helpline.

It sounds like you are concern about the sexual activity you done and concerned if this is a risk for transmitting HIV.

To answer your question you have sex with a condom is considered Low Risk. While you did not ejaculate inside the vagina which means there were no body fluids directly in the bloodstream, and the fact you used a condom reduces risk of acquiring HIV.

Regarding the cut on your foot, HIV once exposed to air does not transmit, plus when we think of open cuts, often the type of cuts which can be considered for risk are cuts that require emergency care or stitches. Therefore, your experience on the foot would not be considered a risk.

Here is a good information when considering HIV transmission:

HIV TRANSMISSION EQUATION

BODY FLUID
+
ACTIVITY
+
DIRECT ACCESS TO BLOODSTREAM
---------- -------- ----------------------------
• blood (including menstrual) • unprotected anal or vaginal intercourse • vagina
• semen • sharing needles • anus
• pre-cum • mother to child (in specific cases) • urethra in the penis
• rectal secretions • open cuts and sores (in theory)
• vaginal fluids • other mucosal membranes
• breast milk • points of needle injection

For more information about HIV you can always visit the AIDS Vancouver website or CATIE.ca.

I hope this information helps to answer your questions and continue practicing safe sex.

Thank you for contacting the AIDS Vancouver Helpline.

Best in Health!
