Hi there,

Thanks for using AIDS Vancouver as a source for your HIV-related questions.

The World Health Organization considers HIV testing to be accurate, reliable and conclusive after a 3 month window period post-exposure. According to your post, you took the Tridot test 12 months post exposure, and you took it 5 times. I want to assure you that you can trust these results and do not need to be re-tested (unless you have new exposures).

If your jaundice condition is not associated with hepatitis, then the medication will not affect your HIV test results.

I hope this adequately answered your questions. Please feel free to contact us again with any further inquires, or you can call us on the helpline at 604-696-4666.

In health,
Chantelle
