I went to a massage parlor which had a Thai therapist. We have sex with condom on but I didn’t finish (although she finished multiples times).
Condom (which was half way on the dick as the condom was little lose. She removed the condom and gave me a blow job. She cut my penis head as she was wearing braces (this I later realized). Finally she gave me an oil hand job.
Now I am scared that I may have gotten hiv as when she removed the condom the bodily fluids from sex might have been there on my penis and then she gave me a blow job with a cut on my penis. Might have exposed my penis blood stream to the virus.
Is there any chances I could get hiv from this??.
I am really worried couldn’t sleep for days

Hello,

Thank you for your inquiry. From what we gather from the question, you were asking about the risk of acquiring HIV after engaging in protected insertive sex followed by unprotected oral sex and a hand job. From the information given, this scenario is determined to be Low Risk (evidence of transmission occurs through these activities when certain conditions are met).

The scenario mentioned above could meet the three components of the [Transmission Equation](https://www.aidswindsor.org/healthy-me/hiv-transmission/) due to improper use or potential breakage of the condom during insertive sex. Please note that it is unlikely that the removal of the condom before oral sex contributed to any elevated HIV risk as the virus would have been exposed to air rendering it inactive. Also, receiving oral sex would not heighten the risk since saliva is not a bodily fluid that can carry the HIV virus.

If you are continuously engaging in risky activities there are biomedical approaches such as PrEP and PEP that help lower your risk of acquiring HIV. Refer to your physicians for further information.

Recommendation: Refer to a health care provider for HIV testing.

Regards,

AIDS Vancouver Helpline/Online, Marie
