I got 2 lap dances from same woman between 19-25 Sept (apx 10-40 minutes ). During both lap dances there was dry humping where I was stroking from back(with woman having her lap dance strings(underwear) and I in under wear as well as pants)for quite some time.I was fully clothed and wore shirt, underpants & jeans on 1st occasion and shirt, under pant and formal pant on second occasion.

The woman who provided lap dance was in lap dance strings but bare breasts. At both occasions I ejaculated in my underwear. There were no visible strains on outer portion of my full pants. There was no kissing, oral sex or any penetration during both incidents. It involved only touching breasts, arms. No direct touching of genital parts involved(except stroking as stated above).I checked my pants both times and there was no wetness on my pants on groin area.

I would like to know if there is any possibility of HIV infection and other STDs(including Herpes).

Hello There,

Thank you for posting on the AIDS Vancouver Helpline Forum.

There was definitely no way for HIV transmission through touching. For HIV to be transmitted, the bodily fluids (blood, semen or vaginal/anal fluids) of the HIV+ person need to come into direct contact with the blood stream of the HIV- person. The situation you described did not have these characteristics.

Skin is a great barrier for HIV transmission, because it blocks any fluids present from reaching the blood stream of the other person. The HIV virus is actually quite weak - it cannot fight its way through barriers like the skin (or condoms). It is also important to note that the HIV virus dies as soon as it is exposed to the air, so any lap-dance type situation is really not conducive to HIV transmission.

AIDS Vancouver specializes in HIV-realted information, so it is more difficult for me to give you information on your exposure to other STIS. Here is a link that would be helpful with the details of other STIs and their methods of transmission: [Smart Sex Resource](http://smartsexresource.com/)

Hope this helps!

All the Best,

Reeman & Chantelle
