Hello. I have a question. i had a scab on my right thumb. And thats where cum ended. Is there any chance of infecting hiv? scab is already 5 6 days before this event. it didnt hurt, it didnt bleed. i hope you understood the question. sory for my bad english!

From the information given, we determine this scenario to be of No Risk (HIV transmission is not possible in given scenario). We determine this to be No Risk, due to the fact that a scab, which you have described has had time to heal over 5-6 days will provide an extra barrier of protection to the bloodstream. HIV transmission occurs when HIV positive fluid comes into *direct contact with the bloodstream* through a High, Low, or Negligible Risk activity. In this case, it appears to be highly unlikely that HIV transmission would occur due to the scab protecting from direct access to the bloodstream.

Recommendation: No need for HIV screening. Please refer to health care provider for additional questions.
