Hi I took a pregnancy test and my vagina touched the urine test. It scared me I didn't mean for them to touch. Can I get hiv like that, the test was sealed before I opened it. Also my son was chewing a rubber band can he get it like

Hello and thank you for contacting the Helpline. I am not sure I fully understand your question but there is nothing to suggest you were at risk for HIV exposure or transmission while performing the pregnancy test.
As for your son, chewing on the rubber band would not pose a risk of HIV transmission either. Even if the rubber band had been directly exposed to body fluids of a person living with HIV, the virus does not live outside the body and does not pass from inanimate objects to people, so your son is not at risk.
