I only had two sexual encounters...
And both the time it was protected using 2 condoms at same time...but both condoms were intact at the end of the sex and nither slip
And second sexual experience was 5 months ago..
Well when i reserched on google...it says 2 condom increases the risk....
So dose it put me in a risk As condoms didn't broke...or slip??
I didn't had any symptoms...
I only had vaginal intercourse ,no anal,no kissing ,no oral...only protected vaginal intercourse with 2 condoms...
(I am circumcised and a hyperchondriac )

Hi there and thank you for contacting the AIDS Helpline, we are happy to help

It sounds as though you are worried about whether you need an HIV test after your sexual encounters.

You stated that you had two sexual encounters, both involving protected vaginal intercourse. You stated that you used two condoms at the same time, and that neither condom broke. Sex with a condom is actually not a risk for HIV transmission. When identifiable conditions are present (such a condom breaking, another STI present), this activity is still considered a LOW risk for HIV transmission.

For future reference, using two condoms at the same time is not recommended because it can actually increase the friction between the two condoms during intercourse and lead to a tear in one/both of the condoms.

Here is a link for proper condom use from SmartSex Resource: http://smartsexresource.com/topics/condoms

HIV testing for this specific activity is not required since it is NO RISK/LOW RISK for HIV transmission, however we do recommend regular HIV testing for all individuals that are sexually active.

Hopefully this information was helpful to you. If you should have any further questions or concerns, please fell free to contact us at our AIDS Vancouver Helpline

Sincerely,

Raveena
