Hello and thanks for reaching out to the AIDS Vancouver Helpline.

Receiving oral sex is regarded as a Negligible Risk activity. This means that although there is an exchange of body fluids there are no confirmed reports of HIV transmission from the activity. Using a condom during the activity reduces the risk even further. You can read further on this topic from [Oral Sex and HIV Risk](http://www.cdc.gov/hiv/risk/oralsex.html) website.

The AIDS Vancouver Helpline Online forum has postings that are related to your question that you can read for additional information. If you have any further questions feel free to contact us again.

Thank you for contacting the AIDS Vancouver Helpline.
