Hi,

Thank you for contacting AIDS Vancouver. I will try to answer all your questions.

Firstly, HIV does not discriminate and is not based on one group based on ethnicity, gender, disability, sexual orientation, age, political views or another characteristic. Being at a massage parlour does not pose any higher risk of acquiring HIV.

Sucking on breasts is a negligible risk. "Negligible Risk" means the potential for HIV transmission does involve the exchange of body fluids, however, there has never been a confirmed report.

As for the hand job there were "No Risks" since there were no body fluids exchanged and no direct access to the bloodstream.Have a look at our AIDS Vancouver Website, where we break down some of the sexual activities and their risk level try [www.aidsvancouver.org](www.aidsvancouver.org)

As for the ulcer, phlegm and sore throat continue to partner with a doctor. Based on this sexual activity it sounds like there is at most a negligible to no risk, and not to getting HIV. Getting regular testing for STIs is the best way for you to be sure of your sexual health . As far as HIV there is no way to know for sure unless you get tested.

The World Health Organization Guideline considers all tests conclusive after 12 weeks. The ELISA test is 95% detectable after 4-6 weeks. The Rapid Test (results can come in minutes) is also 95% detectable at 4-6 weeks.

I hope this information relieves your stress. Thanks for contacting AIDS Vancouver.

Best Wishes and if you any other questions feel free to contact us at 604-696-4666 if you live in the Vancouver Coastal Region. All calls confidential and private.
