Hi, so I was diagnosed with yeast infection on my penis and was supposed to abstain from any form of sexual activities but I didn't listen..

So I met this stranger through grindr and we decided to have some fun in the toilet... So one of the things he did was to rub his urethra (peehole) against my urethra (peehole), basically he rubbed our peehole against one another, When we were both kind of leaking precum... And he did this rubbing thing for more than 2 minutes?

So I was just wondering what are the chances of me contracting HIV if he is HIV positive?

Does me having yeast infection on my penis increase the chances of me getting HIV?

Hi there,

Thank you for your inquiry. From what we gather from the question, you are asking about the risk of acquiring HIV after engaging in genital rubbing. From the information given, this scenario is determined to be
Negligible Risk (there is no evidence or no documented cases of transmission, however, there is a theoretical possibility of transmission under certain extenuating circumstances).

In order for transmission to occur, a number of requirements must be met (see below).
Helpline Transmission Equation .jpg
HIV transmission requires the presence of HIV positive fluid (such as semen, vaginal fluid, pre-cum, rectal fluid, breastmilk, etc.), coupled with a High, Low, or Negligible Risk activity, that provides the virus with direct access to the bloodstream.

The scenario you described above does not fully satisfy the transmission equation, as there was no direct access to the bloodstream. However, given the activity and the presence of pre-seminal fluid, this scenario can be considered Negligible Risk

RecommendationThere is no evidence or documented cases of transmission. Refer to a healthcare professional for more personalized answers.
