Hi,
I am so much worried don't know whats happening to me.
I had unprotected vaginal exposure with CSW back in 2013.
2 weeks later i was exposure to gastritis and sinusitis.
I tested HIV 1,2 after 3rd, 6th, 9th and 12th months of post-exposure. it was non reactive.

Currently in 2015 i still have gastritis, sinusitis and sore throat.

My question ( i used to be so healthy with perfect with my life, i had a quality life ) and now i get sick at least every after 2 months ) . i never had gastritis and sinusitis before but now life has messed up for me.

I have partnered with couple of doctors, they don't understand the reason of my being sick.
Once time i was sick for a whole month. they tested for Malaria, Typhoid, Vidal . all of them came out negative.

If all test are coming negative then what is the issue here?

Can HIV be false, positive? i had also lost 12 pounds.
What are the chances of HIV acquiring HIV?

I have to marry to my girlfriend but living in risk if i might be infected what is the truth it? should i go for my wedding or should i wait and confirm first whether HIV is disturbing?

Also all STD test are negative..

Hi there and thank you for contacting us at AIDS Vancouver, we are happy to help.

It sounds like you are very worried about you HIV status and think you may have had a false positive result.

You stated that you took an HIV test after 3, 6, 9, and 12 months post exposure. It is unclear which test you took, however all HIV tests in BC are conclusive after 3 months. If all of your test results came out negative after 6 and 9 months post exposure then it can be conclusive that your HIV test is negative.

In regards to your gastritis and sinusitis and other health issues that you are experiencing, your doctor would have the best explanation for your symptoms. We are volunteers here at the helpline and not doctors, but it is safe to say that if all of your test results for HIV came out negative then the symptoms are probably not related to HIV.

As far as your marriage is concerned, it is not our place to instruct you what you should do, however we can assure you of your negative HIV status after all the testing that you have received.

Sincerely,

Raveena
