I had sex with CSW....
The condom was provided by her.....
She used 2 condom insted of one...after sex i saw both the condoms were intact and did not slip...so i started mastrubating and finally ejeculated...then she removed the condom...the concern is she used two condoms...and every where its written do not use two condoms...so i got scared....and i have a 2 hole on the bottom of my penis its like a tunnel but no pain no discharge or any thing...so dose it increase the risk??
I am circumcised and doctor said there holes are due to circumcise no need to worry about it....but my anxiety convinced me that i am infected....
Is protected sex with no condom breakage or slipping a risk??

Hello and thank you for contacting the AIDS Vancouver Helpline. I am happy to answer your questions.

It sounds like you are concerned about the usage of 2 condoms, the holes on your penis, and how this may affect your risk of acquiring HIV.

Firstly, you are correct in that using 2 condoms is not a good thing. This is because 2 condoms creates friction which may increase the chances of breakage. Having sex with a condom, however, is considered a low risk activity, even if the condom doesn't break. If this worries you then you may wish to consider visiting a healthcare professional to obtain an HIV test. Please note that HIV tests are considered conclusive 3 months post-exposure.

In terms of the holes in your penis due to circumcision, these are likely not an issue to you. This is because for HIV to enter the bloodstream through a cut, the cuts/wounds must be deep enough to give access to the bloodstream. Usually when we discuss cuts we are talking about ones that are bleeding profusely or require stitches/surgery. It does not sound as if your cuts are of that nature.

I hope I have answered your questions and provided you with enough information to make an informed decision. If you have any more questions, feel free to contact us again.

Sincerely,

Caroline
